glxshell.lib.columnize module

glxshell.lib.columnize.columnize(columnize_data, display_width=80)[source]

Display a list of strings as a compact set of columns.

Each column is only as wide as necessary. Columns are separated by two spaces (one was not legible enough).

Parameters:

  • columnize_data (list) – a list of list

  • display_width (int) – the maximum allowed size
